Each year the largest and oldest organization in the franchise industry holds the International Franchise Association conference for it’s members and suppliers.
When IFA Supplier Forum Member E.H Anderson PR approached us for ideas on how to make this year their best yet, we helped design a comprehensive campaign for their 2013 tradeshow booth.
Select attendees of this years conference were first introduced to the campaign with an 11″ x 6″ postcard almost 2 weeks before the event. The overall theme focused on the simple concept of “Why You?” and was designed to capture short elevator pitch-type testimonials about why someone should consider a particular franchise concept. IFA conference participants were invited to create a brief professionally produced video at the E.H. Anderson booth that they could use on their website, YouTube channel or Facebook Page – no strings attached.
In terms of results, 30 different videos were created during the event with great potential for follow-up with some very qualified leads. The level of interaction at the booth was much greater than the previous year and the depth of the initial conversation served as a solid relationship starter.
Instead of coming home with another useless stress ball, attendees were able to come away with a digital asset they can use as they wish. For E. H. Anderson, this meant coming home with qualified leads instead of a fishbowl full of cold fish.
